This post is a bit long and I apologize for that in advance, but I feel all the information I am presenting here is necessary to give an honest review of the ebook The Ultimate Wealth Package. I have been an affiliate marketer for sometime now and have tried many different reputable affiliate programs and some that were not so reputable. I have burned many holes in my pockets trying out "the latest thing". I have to admit, when I read about the ebook The Ultimate Wealth Package , I was screaming scam almost immediately after reading the first paragraph of the sales letter.

But, I gave it the benefit of the doubt and decided to read on. I have to admit, the promises this millionaire guru "Mark Warren" was making had me very intrigued, so I decided to go ahead and purchase the ebook against my better judgement. Well, let me tell you it has been one of the better choices I have made when it comes to affiliate marketing. I stood corrected and decided I was never again going to judge a book by it's cover. I'm going to give you a brief overview of what this book consists of and my honest opinion on it. So read on and hopefully my review will be just what you need to make your decision on if the The Ultimate Wealth Package is right for you.

Now, of course I'm not going to sit here and give you ALL positive feedback on this Ebook because you have to take the good with the bad. So here's what I didn't like about The Ultimate Wealth Package.

Is "The Ultimate Wealth Package" Ebook Really THAT Good

Well, to be honest with you...yes! But, what I didn't like about it is well frankly, the sales page is alittle hyped up. I mean, he starts off with bold statements like this: "Are You Ready To Make Thousands Of Dollars Every Week Working Less Than One Hour Per Day?" Well I can tell you right now it takes more than an hour a day to make that kind of income. I put in atleast 2 to 3 hours daily when I first started. Another statement he makes is: "Start Making Money in Your First Hour". I can tell you right now, it is almost impossible to start making money in your first hour because there is a lot of information to go through and I personally didn't make any money in my first hour with The Ultimate Wealth Package , but I did wake up the next day to find that I cleared over $157 using just one of his techniques.

Is "The Ultimate Wealth Package" a Scam?

My answer is a definite NO and I do recommend it to anyone who is looking to earn income online with a profitable affiliate program. It is a decision that you must make, but I can tell you it was one of my best decisions I've made. You can get your copy here: The Ultimate Wealth Package.

The Shocking Truth About Action - Doing Without Doing

It is NOT your action that makes things happen, it is your intent. You can reduce the need for action to a very minimum by allowing yourself to focus on what you desire until you feel the positive energy begin to move within you. This energy is not based on fear, anxiety, worry or need. If you focus on what you WANT instead of what you don't want, you will know when it's time to take action.

This is a paragraph I have quoted from a perfect little ebook written by Dr. Robert Anthony called "The Shocking Truth About Action". Although this ebook is only 9 pages long, it is one of the most powerful sources of information I have come across that utilizes The Law of Attraction to obtain what you want in life, that I had to present it here on my blog. As I've discussed in some earlier posts, there is a secret to unlimited prosperity in life. This secret also brings health, happiness, relationships or anything else you desire into your life without struggle. It's an exact scientific method. It's called "The Law of Attraction". 3 Hour Profits - Getting Around The Hype

"Be Making Real Money Withing 3 Hours Working From Home" or $1,000 a Day Starting Today! These are some bold statements I found while researching an affiliate marketing online program called 3 Hour Profits.

Well being that I just love to review affiliate marketing programs and the fact that I make my living doing so, I had to try this. Well I had to see how much money I can make with 3 Hour Profits and how fast I was going to do it. So I joined the program, and began to instantly implement the strategies this program outlined. I also gave it 2 weeks before making any kind of decision on how much money I can make with this.

Here is what I experienced. Well I can tell you right now, I did NOT make money within my first 3 hours! It took me that long to read and set up the program. After working this affiliate marketing online program for at least 2 weeks, I was not bringing in $1,000 a day with it. So is 3 Hour Profits a scam and nothing but a hand full of hype? My short answer, no it is not. Let me tell you why.

After my 3 hours of reading the manual and setting up the program to the fastest way to make money (3 hours), I began to immediately do the step by step instructions this ebook outlines. Not only did I not make money within my first 3 hours, I didn't even make money my first 24 hours. However, I did persist and do what the instructions told me to do on a daily consistent basis. The second day rolled around and I checked my paypal account, and there was no payments. Now, most people would quit at this point and say, well this is a scam or this does not work! I'm not that type of person. I believe in giving any affiliate marketing program at least 2 weeks. So I continued on doing as I was instructed.

The third day, I looked in my paypal account and noticed I had made 2 sales. Well, I'm certainly not rich, but I made some sales nevertheless. What happened, is with my efforts, I created a residual effect. Each day went on and I'd find sales in my paypal account. This motivated me to work the program even harder. As you know, the more effort you put in, the more money you make. I would wake up to $60 here, $100 there and it continued on and on. Just about every day I wake up now and see sales.

At this point, I am not making $1,000 a day with 3 Hour Profits, but I am consistently making money with it and that pleases me to no end. Yet another affiliate program to add to my list of money making ideas.

Just click on 3 Hour Profits to sign up yourself. Be ready to make some decent part-time income from this, but only if you work the program consistently and follow exactly what it tells you to do. This affiliate program is not for lazy people.

Running a traditional brick and mortar kind of business with an online presence, is obviously one very good way to make at least part of your living online. But for the purposes of this article we are going to assume that you do not have your own business. So you've decided that you want to earn income online. You have either decided it was time to ditch the boss and join the growing online community of entrepreneurs, you realized that a 9 to 5 job was NOT going to make you rich or secure your future or you want to simply stay home with your kids. Do you have a legitimate home business?

Have you been searching for a legitimate home business? You'll want to find a business that is reputable and is going to make you money.

Finding a business is not as hard as it seems, but you have to do your research. Look around and see what other people are saying about the home business. Now, on to free websites. There are tons of them that you can use. Again, just do a search on "free websites" and you will see a whole list of them. One free website service I have used and find fairly easy to use is FreeWebs. They make great websites and you can always upgrade to your own domain name through them later on which is nice. However, this website does not come with a shopping cart, so you would need to either find a seperate company to accept credit cards...

OR you can use PayPal which is very easy to use and most people go with this option.

Join Paypal

With Paypal, your customers just click on your paypal link or button and are taking to a secure payment site. If they don't have a paypal account, they can sign up for one free or use their credit card through paypal to make a purchase. It's all simple and the paypal system walks them through the signup process.

Now, if you don't want to create your own website or pay any start up fees for your own home business, then you should look into reputable affiliate marketing programs. I make a great income with affiliate marketing and the best part of this is you DON'T need a website to profit from it.

You can research affiliate marketing here through any search engine. Okay, so now you have researched "affiliate marketing" and know what it's all about right? NO? Well go do that! Feel free to do a search over on at the left navigation bar of this site. Just type in "affiliate marketing" and you should get loads of information on the topic.

But in a nutshell, affiliate marketing is basically a method of promoting other people's websites or products and earning commissions on them. There are usually no fee's, you just sign up with an affiliate program of your choice and get what's called an affiliate link to promote. Advertise your link around the web and when someone clicks on your link and purchases a product or service, your paid a commission for it. Very simple and easy. Now, you are probably thinking...whoo hoo! She's rich! Yeah right, but just remember...eHow is a gradual way to build your residual passive income. It will not build overnight, but it will grow over time to a point where you could be making a full time living from it and receiving passive income monthly for articles you have already written.

Now if you notice my earnings on the screenshot...you will notice that my income as now made it to over $15 monthly. This is with 55 articles banked. I haven't written a great deal for eHow lately because I have been focusing on my other sources of income, but as you can see it is going up all by itself. I've talked about the book 20 Ways To Make $100 Per Day Online before, but it has since been buried and I just wanted to bring it up again. This book is indeed one of the reasons why I consider myself a successful marketer on the internet today. Now, although yes I do make money if you grab this book yourself, this is not the reason why I am telling you this.

I have been working from home for over 7 years now and counting, however, I have NOT been successful all those 7 years. It was not until I learned how to take committed action and stay focused that I began to see my success. This book was one of the factors that helped me to do this.

Not only did this book show me how to stay committed, but it showed me how to earn extra cash from home without having to spend any money. Not many books or programs do that. You usually spend over hundreds of dollars before you even bring in your first $1.

There are over 20 free methods to make money. Now, I wouldn't advise you to go at all 20 because that would just result in a poor lack of focus in my opinion. Not to say that you can't "eventually" utilize all 20, but start slow.

I chose 1 method and worked it for 30 days to see if this book was really all that it was cracked up to be. I put it to the test so to speak. Did I earn extra cash from home with this book? YEP! Honestly, I didn't start seeing $100 per day online within my first 30 days, but I did begin to see money coming in on a daily basis which was very cool with me. It wasn't because this book was magical. It was because I stayed focused, put in the effort and followed EXACTLY what the book told me to. I did not jump around from one thing to the next, I simply did what this 1 method I picked out instructed me to do CONSISTENTLY for 30 days, because after all I had to make an honest assessment for myself and was certainly not going to be able to do this without committed focus and action.

Is 20 Ways To Make $100 Per Day Online Worth It??

So, do I recommend this book to any person who would like to earn extra cash from home within 30 days? YES. Am I going to make some money off of you grabbing this book? Ummm...YES! :-)

Internet Income Generator - Make At Least $1000 In A Month

If someone were to show you an honest internet income generator where you could make at least $1000 in a month's time with your business, what would you think? Well, if you are like most people, the first thing that would probably run across your head is "is it a scam"? Or maybe you might think that there is just way too much work involved or you need special skills, etc.

These are common thoughts when it comes to making money online. However, making $1000 in a month's time is not that hard to do and it is quite realistic, but, you do have to work for it. 2. Go to Google and bring up "Google Adwords: Keyword Tool".

3. This next step takes some creativity. Think of any kind of words that would describe working from home or home business or internet business, etc. Keep thinking of new words around the topic of making money from home. When you think of a word, pop it in to the keyword tool and check out the results. You want to find words that have at least 500 monthly searches to be the most effective. When you find these words, plug them into Google with quotes around them to see how many competing sites there are for that word. It will be on the top right and says 1 - 10 of about (number here) for Google Adwords. You want to find a word that has no more than 5000 here. Anything above will make it a bit more difficult to get listed on the first page of Google.

4. Get yourself at least 10 of these words above.

5. Got your words? Ok, now you are going to write 10 articles (250 word minimum) using one keyword per article. The articles are going to be information relevant to your internet income generator .

6. Sprinkle your keyword in your article. Include your keyword in the title, first paragraph, body of article and last paragraph. This will basically optimize it for search engines.

7. Repeat step 6 for all 10 articles (using a different keyword per article).

8. Now, pick out an article and go to Squidoo.com and get yourself a free account. Once you have an account, build yourself a lens (steps on how to build lenses are all covered in squidoo) and add your article to your lens. This is going to be your landing page for the rest of your articles.

9. Lens completed? Good, now go to Ezine Articles and submit the other 9 keyword optimized articles to them with a link pointing back at your squidoo lens. The link needs to be in the resource box because Ezine does not allow links in the body of the articles.

10. Now, rinse and repeat these steps everyday for 30 days.

By the end of 30 days, you will have 300 keyword optimized articles on the net linking back to your internet income generator. It seems like a lot of work, and don't get me wrong, it is, but it will build you a nice passive stream of traffic and sales to your business.

How NOT to Recruit Affiliates

So I got an email today from an affiliate manager, or an account executive, whatever you want to call him. The subject line read: "Randy will you promote our new widget".

Now that's not too bad. It at least got me to open the email. (I delete a lot of emails, especially the ones that say "You link to be removed".)

Then I read the first line of the email: "Dear sir, Widget.com has a brand new widget variation that is taking the world by storm. We would like to partner with www.genericwidgetdomain.com (place any website here) in promoting widgets."

This part, "(place any website here)" was literally actually in the email, word for word.

What's wrong with this email?

1- I'm already an affiliate, so there's no need to "recruit" me into their affiliate program. (If their affiliate managers were really on top of their game, they would know what all of my related wesites are already.)

2- Not changing the generic wording in the email is just a really bad, amateurish mistake. When I did affiliate recruitment, I hand-typed at the very least the first paragraph of every email I sent out, period. There is 0 excuse for sending out an email that isn't at least slightly customized. Hell, they obviously knew my name because they used it in the subject line, but in the salutation of the email, they referred to me as "Dear Sir".

3- The rest of the email wasn't bad, but it was short, and it didn't spell out the features and benefits of the affiliate program. Here's a hint for all you aspiring affiliate managers: if you're going to contact me about becoming an affiliate for your company, please include information about how much commission you pay, and what kind of earning potential that translates into.

Don't try to "tease" me into wanting to find out more. I'm busy, I work hard, and I don't have time for you to be coy, and the kind of affiliates you want to recruit are a lot like me.

Google Penalties - Common New Google.com Penalty

Okay, so you're hearing about the Google Sandbox, the Google -30 penalty, and the Google -950 penalty, but here's the latest of the Google.com penalties: Your Site Sucks and Google Just Figure It Out. Nice post from the fine folks at Threadwatch, and a big hat tip to DigitalGhost for mentioning it. You can also read some fine and thoughtful commentary about this phenomenon over at Aaron Wall's place: New Google Penalty.

Now of course, those guys look at this from a professional SEO consultant perspective more than from an affiliate marketer perspective. And part of their point is to advise SEO's to not take on clients whose websites suck unless they think they can get the client interested in creating a website that doesn't suck. (Unlikely in most cases, IMO.)

But what kind of affiliate websites suck? I can tell you a few things that make up major suckiness in an affiliate website:

- Reviews of products that aren't really reviews, but are instead just sales pages for the product.

- Review of products that do nothing but list of the features and benefits of a product.

- Sites full of lame scraped content and a bunch of random more-or-less on topic links that are trying to manipulate some "hub factor" in an algorithm.

- Websites that have lots of pop-up windows of any kind.

- Websites with multiple flashing banners who seem to have one purpose, and that's to send epileptics into seizures. (Ugh - I hate those sites. They're common in the gambling industry, btw.)

- Websites full of really poorly written "content" that was only posted in order to generate search visitors.

- Websites without a distinctive voice or opinion.

I'm sure I could think of some more, but I'll stop there. I'd imagine a lot of affiliate webmasters will think that this list is pretty lame, or even offensive, but chances are, they're the ones operating sucky websites.

Laziness as a Business Virtue

At first glance, this Lazy SEO Manifesto from Andy Hagans looks like a clever bit of SEO humor and/or linkbait, and it works on those levels, certainly. But the post is more interesting than that, because it also makes us stop to think for a minute about what is actually a business virtue here. America has a lot of people who are so into the Protestant work ethic that if someone told them it's good to be lazy, their head might explode.

On the other hand, there are plenty of lazy people who literally want to do nothing. Andy's not wanting to do nothing. He wants to do a little bit of smart work on the front end so he can avoid a bunch of hard work later, and he also wants to make sure that he makes a LOT of money for the little bit of work that he's done. (There's a big difference in that attitude than in the attitude of some hourly employees who are convinced they don't make enough money even though they actually show up on time every day. As if showing up by itself is high value.)

Andy's post also reminded me of one of Thomas Leonard's principles of attraction, Be Incredibly Selfish. Point #1 on Thomas' list was that selfishness used to have a bad name, but now it's developing a good name. Andy's manifesto is a similar meme. Laziness used to be bad, but in the hands of someone smart and creative, laziness isn't bad at all, but a virtue.

I think I'll go take a nap now.

Overture Keyword Suggestion Tool Down

I've been using the Overture keyword suggestion tool since it was the GoTo keywords tool. Sad to see that it's no longer working, and from what I can tell by searching through some blog sites, it isn't coming back. So what's a search engine marketer to do?

(Update on 2/1/2007 - Looks like reports of the Overture keyword suggestion tool's demise have been exaggerated.)

I guess it's time to take a look at some alternatives to the Overture tool. Here are a few links to keyword suggestion tools I like. Some of them are free, and some of them charge. The ones that charge usually have some type of trial offer that can be pretty useful.

A lot of keyword suggestion tools used to scrape the Overture tool, especially for looking at potential traffic information, but the traffic estimates from Overture were always wildly inaccurate anyway, so no great loss there. Also, I can't imagine that they'll go without a keyword generator forever, although they might restrict its use to advertisers. MSN Adcenter also has a keyword suggestion tool accessible from within your Adcenter account.
